Disney Lorcana Attack of the Vine pre-release week brought a packed Weekly Lorecast from Ravensburger, hosted by Greg Tito and JDZ. The episode covered five major announcements: the Curator’s Collection Heroines Edition at Disney Parks, Collection Quest events expanding to RPH stores nationwide, the D23 Show Bundle details, and the full North American Championship VIP package reveal. Here is everything announced directly on stream.
Attack of the Vine Pre-Release Is Here
Greg confirmed that Attack of the Vine pre-release events start at RPH (Ravensburger Play Hub) stores worldwide. Each pre-release box includes six booster packs, one of six random promo cards, two themed dice, and a movie-poster style art card. Importantly, there are no mandatory pre-release tournament rules — stores are free to run their events however they choose, whether that is a sealed deck tournament, a pack rush, or casual social play. “It is up to the stores to provide exactly what each event is,” Greg said. Players are encouraged to take photos at their events and submit them to the Lorecast Discord at discord.gg/DisneyLorcana for a future community highlight segment.

Curator’s Collection – Heroines Edition Launches at Disney Parks and Stores
The Curator’s Collection – Heroines Edition is available starting July 17, exclusively at select Disney Parks and Disney Store locations. JDZ noted he was already seeing players on social media making dedicated trips to Disney Parks just to pick this up, calling the six full-art foil heroine cards “amazing.” The set also comes with a separately available premium foil play mat featuring artwork from The Great Honey Rescue cooperative game, complete with gold-stitched edges and selective foiling on the logo and magical effects. “It feels elegant,” JDZ said on air. Both the Heroines Edition and the play mat are only at select Disney stores — not at local game stores — so Greg advised checking availability ahead of any trip.
Collection Quest Events Expanding to RPH Stores and EB Games Across the US and Canada
In a major announcement for the community, Ravensburger confirmed that Collection Quest events are coming to RPH stores across the United States and Canada from August 14 to August 23. Canadian players also get an additional venue: select EB Games locations will be hosting events during that same window. Greg called this a natural next step after successful tests at Disney Parks, EPCOT, and GameStop locations over the past year. “People have been clamoring about having more Collection Quest events at more locations,” he said.
JDZ described the appeal of Collection Quest as more than just a card game format. “I can sometimes be a socially awkward person, and the Collection Quest kind of removed all that,” he said, explaining how the trading mechanic naturally gets strangers talking. No previous TCG knowledge is required to participate, making it one of the most accessible Lorcana events available. More information and a full location list is available at DisneyLorcana.com.

D23 Ultimate Disney Fan Event – EQL Bundle Sale Closing Soon
Ravensburger confirmed significant Lorcana programming at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (August 14–16, Anaheim). The D23 Show Bundle is priced at $189.97 and available via the EQL lottery system, which closed Friday, July 18, at 2 PM Pacific. The bundle includes the 2026 D23 Collection of six foil cards, the exclusive Woody – Leader of the Toys D23-stamped promo card, the Winnie the Pooh – Hunny Wizard premium foil play mat, the Disney Lorcana Quest of Wonders Illumineer’s Lorebook (available here for the first time), a Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor enamel pin, and a Tigger – In the Crow’s Nest enamel pin. All items are while supplies last and require a D23 badge for pick-up.
For those who did not enter the EQL, Ravensburger is introducing a Disney Virtual Queue for the first time at D23. D23 badge holders can join the virtual queue to book a timed slot each day at the Ravensburger sales booth, where individual items from the bundle — as well as Attack of the Vine booster packs, puzzles, and other products — will be sold à la carte. Greg stressed that you cannot purchase anything at the booth without a virtual queue slot, a change designed to address the crowd and safety issues seen at past events. A Disney Lorcana Challenge Championship Qualifier (CCQ) is also confirmed at D23 and sold out in under a minute. Additionally, a Collection Quest event will run in the Ravensburger Store Event area throughout the weekend. Greg also teased that D23 will kick off Season 3 of organized play — the Season of Villainy — with more details to come.
North American Championship VIP Packages On Sale July 26
The North American Championship takes place in Anaheim at the end of August, with the European Championship following in approximately mid-September. VIP package tickets go on sale Sunday, July 26 for the North American event (Saturday, July 25 Central European Time for the European event). A 15-minute early queue window opens before each sale — Greg and JDZ both urged players not to wait, noting demand will be extremely high.
The Championship Premium Package includes a Mickey Mouse Brave Little Tailor tote bag, a premium badge, your choice of either a Simba or Mulan challenge play mat, a Collection Quest adventure voucher, expedited queue access for the artist alley and prize wall, a food and drink voucher, a magnetic card holder, an Elsa Ice Maker enamel pin, a set of non-foil challenge promos (Dragon Fire and Let It Go), and a non-foil Down in New Orleans championship promo card.
The Championship VIP Package — priced at $1,150 USD (€999 for the European Championship) — includes everything in the Premium Package plus a special VIP badge, access to the VIP lounge, both challenge play mats, an exclusive VIP-only character meet and greet (Sully in Anaheim; Sorcerer Mickey in Paris), a Collection Quest event voucher, three daily snack and drink vouchers, and the headline item: a non-foil uncut sheet of Legendary cards from Attack of the Vine, shown live on stream for the first time. “You have to have at least one uncut sheet in your collection,” JDZ said. Ravensburger confirmed a protective tube will be provided so players can travel safely with the sheet. VIP members also receive a non-foil Headless Horseman – Cursed Rider championship promo card.
Gen Con Live Panel – July 30 at 10 AM Eastern
Finally, the Weekly Lorecast will be live from Gen Con in Indianapolis on Thursday, July 30, at the earlier time of 7 AM Pacific / 10 AM Eastern. The show will feature a live playthrough of The Great Honey Rescue cooperative Illumineer’s Quest game, and Gen Con will mark the first public opportunity to purchase the product at the Ravensburger booth. There will be no regular Lorecast on August 13, as the team will be preparing for D23. The full crew returns to the regular schedule on August 6, coming off Gen Con with recaps and final D23 hype.
