The 2020 season has been an absolute roller coaster. Cloud 9 going 17-1 in Spring to Team Liquid being 9th place. The roaster changes have been a tad extreme as well with DoubleLift switching over to TSM and Tactical stepping in for TL. Viper was removed at the start of Spring for Solo in FlyQuest and then picked up by Dignitas for Summer split.
Summer split has at least been more interesting with Cloud9 and Team Liquid are both 10-2. Team Liquid is finally playing like they should showing that they are still top tier team. Golden Guardians picking up Damonte was a great addition. I was surprised when he wasn’t grabbed in Spring, but he is young and that can be a deterrent.
Immortals, 100 Thieves, Dignitas and even Evil Geniuses have made some major changes to their roaster and this has had some positive outcomes (winning), but overall I believe that it destroys a team’s motivation and drive. Sometimes if a team isn’t doing their best, don’t you think the coach need’s to step up with a solution? I understand that players need to be sidelined, but doing so mid split can cause more harm than good.
We still have a couple weeks to go. Right now, it’s looking like we will be seeing the follow teams in playoffs. Based on ranks:

- Golden Guardians
- TSM
- FlyQuest
- Evil Geniuses
- CLG
- 100 Thieves
