The Games I Can’t-Wait to Play 2023

Armored Core VI holds a special place in my heart since childhood. I’ve spent countless hours playing Armored Core 2, and now I eagerly anticipate the chance to do the same with this latest installment. FromSoftware developed and Bandai Namco Entertainment published Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, a mecha-based vehicular combat game that promises to deliver a thrilling gaming experience with various Player Vs. Player modes, including 1v1 and 3v3.

The game boasts several key features, including dynamic and omni-directional battles, customizable mechs that allow you to play how you want, challenging boss battles, and a complete story mode that will leave you wanting more. I cannot wait to dive into this exciting world of mechanized combat.

Let’s look at Starfield. This game has gotten so excited over the last few years that I’m excited about it, and I’m not a fan of exploring-type games. Starfield allows us to create our story, explore outer space, fly our spaceship, and experience zero-gravity combat.

Prepare to embark on an unrivaled gaming journey with Starfield. With limitless possibilities, you can explore space in whichever way you desire. The game’s storyline commences by recounting events from 2050 to 2330 A.D., marking the beginning of Starfield. From voyaging to Mars and inhabiting space to arriving at Alpha Centauri, the game offers many experiences to be savored.

I am incredibly thrilled about this game – no words describe how stunning it looks. Based on what they gave us in their trailer and gameplay videos, my excitement can’t be contained. I look forward to the day this game goes into beta or even a testing state we can play.

We have what looks like a monster hunter-style game with giant end-game monsters or dungeon bosses alongside world bosses that hopefully 50+ people can come together and take them down. I’m curious about what aspects of MMORPG we will be obtaining; as such, I would love to have a mix of Black Desert Online meets more MMO standards with the trinity-style gameplay (tank, DPS, healer).

If you’re a big fan of Diablo 2, you won’t want to miss Path of Exile. In fact, it’s been hailed as the superior version of the classic game. And now, with the upcoming release of Path of Exile 2, the genre is about to be taken to new heights. Developed by Grinding Gear Games, this next generation of Action RPGs offers a unique and thrilling gaming experience. Unlike a mere follow-up to PoE1, PoE2 is a completely new game, and GGG has plans to continue expanding both titles. With the right team in place, I do not doubt that GGG will easily overcome any obstacles. Overall, it’s clear that Path of Exile and its sequel are must-play games for any serious genre fan.

The highly anticipated Path of Exile 2 is set to exceed all expectations. With a brand-new campaign featuring six acts, players can explore 100 unique environments, face 100 new bosses, and enjoy 600 different types of monsters. The game will also offer an incredible twelve character classes, with two for each combination of Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. As with the original Path of Exile, each character class will boast three unique Ascendancy specializations. Furthermore, PoE2 will introduce 240 new skill gems and 200 support gems to enhance gameplay. In a welcome change from the first game, socketing gear will no longer be a limiting factor. Now, support gems can be directly socketed into skill gems. Path of Exile 2 promises to be a game-changer, delivering unparalleled depth and excitement!

Path of Exile 2 will be a massive turnaround in the ARPG genre, and I believe it will be a leading force within the genre for a long time. I’m looking forward to the closed beta on June 7, 2024; until then Exile.
